Un bellissimo ed emozionante viaggio nella musica, dalla seconda metà del 1500 alla seconda metà del 1900, accompagnati dal M. Alessandro Buffone all’organo, da Anna Antonelli al violino e dalle splendide voci della Cappella Musicale della Cattedrale dirette dal M. Annarosa Agostini.
Con queste parole si può riassumere il concerto che si è svolto lo scorso 1 agosto alle 21.30 nella Cattedrale di Fermo, quinto appuntamento del Festival Organistico “Assumpta est Maria”. Nato col desiderio di accompagnare l’ascoltatore verso la Solennità di Maria Vergine Assunta in Cielo (15 agosto), il Festival Organistico è giunto quest’anno alla sua sedicesima edizione, e dopo aver toccato vari luoghi dell’Arcidiocesi Metropolitana, è stata la volta della maestosa Cattedrale di Fermo che ha ospitato più di venti elementi fra cantanti e musicisti.
Un programma ricco, di dodici brani, che hanno spaziato dalla “Toccata Seconda (dal Secondo Libro di Toccate)” e “Himno Ave Maris Stella” di Frescobaldi, all’ “Exultate iusti” di Viadana, fino ad arrivare all’ “Ave Maria” di Somma dopo aver attraversato musiche di Telemann, Palestrina, Bach, Albonini, Verdi e Rachmaninov.
Il festival nasce da una idea del M°. Alessandro Buffone, che ne è anche il direttore artistico, in collaborazione con l’Arcidiocesi di Fermo, con la Cappella Musicale della Cattedrale e con la Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Fermo.
Il prossimo ed ultimo concerto si terrà lunedì 8 agosto, alle ore 21.30, nella Chiesa della Santissima Annunziata a Porto Sant’Elpidio: protagonisti saranno Mario Caldonazzi alla tromba, Fabio Mattivi al trombone e Walter D’Arcangelo all’organo.
