In occasione della memoria di Santa Cecilia (22 novembre), patrona della musica, degli strumentisti e dei cantanti, la Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo in collaborazione con l’Ufficio Liturgico Diocesano, propone per sabato 26 novembre un pomeriggio di approfondimento e preghiera rivolto a tutti i cori della diocesi di Fermo.
L’incontro si svolgerà in cattedrale a partire dalle ore 15.30 e sarà aperto ai cori della diocesi che vorranno regalarsi un momento di formazione e di comunione insieme all’Arcivescovo, S.E. Mons. Rocco Pennacchio.
Dopo un primo momento di accoglienza e sistemazione in chiesa, ci sarà una relazione tenuta da Mons. Marco Frisina, sacerdote della diocesi di Roma e famoso autore di numerosi canti liturgici conosciuti ed apprezzati in Italia e all’estero. Seguirà il dibattito ed un momento di prove di canto con tutti i presenti in vista della celebrazione eucaristica alle ore 18.00 presieduta dall’Arcivescovo (messa accompagnata da alcuni canti scelti fra i più famosi composti da Mons. Frisina).
I cori che vorranno essere presenti potranno segnalare la propria partecipazione inviando una email all’indirizzo info@cattedralefermo.it specificando il proprio nome, la provenienza ed il numero dei partecipanti. L’iscrizione è gratuita e ad essa seguirà l’invio degli spartiti con i canti scelti per la messa.
L’evento, organizzato per la prima volta a livello diocesano con la partecipazione di tutti i componenti dei cori che vorranno essere presenti, oltre a voler rafforzare la comunione fra i cori stessi e l’amore che ciascuno vive per la musica, vuole essere il primo di una lunga serie di appuntamenti annuali dei cori della diocesi con l’Arcivescovo, così da festeggiare insieme la memoria di Santa Cecilia loro Patrona!
